The Almont Research and Industrial Park is conveniently located on Research Drive, just East of M-53 in the Village of Almont.
The Almont Sewage Treatment Plant was constructed in 1989 at a cost of 4.7 million dollars.  The plant was placed in service in May of 1989, with a capacity of 320,000 (0.32MGD) gallons per day.  In 2003 the plant was upgraded with an addition of an equalization basin for the storage of storm water at a cost of 1.8 million dollars.  The present capacity is 470,000 gallons per day.
Detroit Water was brought into the Village in 1976.
The water pressure is maintained by one elevated storage tank built within the Industrial Park in  2008.
The capacity of this tower is 300,000 gallons.
The Village has 2.85 miles of Major Streets, 9.04 miles of Local Streets, and 1 mile of State trunkline.
The state equalized valuation is $76,294,600 and the taxable value is $63,898,220.
